An Enchanting Evening In The Country.
A night under the stars misted over with rain. The sound of the rain on the roof of the barn,(yes the barn), absolute perfection!
The heaviness of the air brought a blurred lighting to the camera.
Visual Eye Candy.
The barn filled with intermittent giggles and squeals.
An evening of sensory fulfillment.
The theme Indian Sultry.
Cooper Boone hosted an evening at his home in the country with guest chef Heather Carlucci.
The evening began with cocktails inside his home. Walking around, discovering treasures, staring and taking photos of rare and eclectic vintage treasures.
Dinner was announced and we walked across the expanse of the yard to the barn. Most guests used umbrellas which added to the #StyleScene.
Simply decorated hay bales to sit upon and one rustic long table set with charm.
Candlelight, sound of rain, the smell of wet grass, darkness of night, chef announcements, clicking of cameras and ice cubes clinking. The quintessential summer evening.
Each course a revealing of seasonings and textures. Commingling of the senses and fabulous conversation.
Cooper Boone couldn't sit still with excitement all night, eating at various places and joining in groups clicking selfies! Energized and bouncy!
Friends, family and strangers brought together for an evening of discovery. So many intriguing conversations. Businesses combined and explored.
The art of a dinner party is a delicate balance. Who to invite. What to serve. Choosing a theme. Where to host. The conversation created.
The adventure of the night
you never know. You prep your home, set the table and just when everything is perfect the first guests begin to arrive.
And like a river you let go and let the evening take shape.
So much fun!
